"Jaime brings years of top-level experience to advising, but her greatest strength is knowing her advisees and helping them reach their potential."
Jaime Caryl-Klika, College Counselor
Jaime spent nearly a decade in university admissions. She started her admission career at Gettysburg College, before returning to her alma mater, Colgate University, for seven years as Senior Assistant Dean of Admission. While at Colgate, she reviewed over 10,000 applications for admission and interviewed or addressed several thousand students each year. Jaime co-coordinated Colgate's application review process, served on the Admission & Aid committee, supervised admission officer domestic and international travel, directed all campus visit programs for prospective and admitted students, and coordinated the Alumni Memorial Scholars program, which recognizes the University's top 200 applicants. She also conducted several on and off-campus college counseling workshops each year.
In 2007 Jaime "crossed the desk" to become a College Counselor and Independent Educational Consultant. In those roles, she has helped hundreds of families navigate the college search and application process. She also had the privilege of working as one of two college counselors at the Advanced Studies Program at St. Paul's School.
Jaime holds professional level membership in the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and is also a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and New England Association of College Admission Counseling (NEACAC). She is also a Certified Educational Planner (CEP) through the American Institute of Certified Educational Planners. The CEP designation is the highest credential one can earn in the profession, requiring substantial educational and experiential requirements, and is subject to regular recertification. Jaime is the only Independent Educational Counselor to hold this credential in New Hampshire and one of fewer than 275 worldwide.
While based in New Hampshire, Jaime serves families throughout the country.
